Thin White Rope : A Micro-Comp

The Valley of The Bones

Red Sun

The Fish Song

When you are desperately trawling the web for post fodder, things are bound to come up. This is three songs from the obscuro-cult band, Thin White Rope.  Name dropping and short hand had followed them everywhere. But it never lead to anything but a series of great records no one seems to have heard. Spaghetti Western guitars punching into the canvas of psychedelic post punk bolstered by quivering vocals and country thumping drums. And you know what? That isn’t even right! If David Lynch wanted a roadhouse band, these guys would’ve been the ticket!  Quirky moody rock that never forgets to do the driving!
