Noise Annoys – Tribal Power

I just wanted to shine a light on the Brooklyn band Oneida. Their mix of tribal drumming, 70s trash rock riffs, 60s psych, and avant guard textures is singular. Recently, they released the triple disc album Rated O, the second installment of a trilogy called Thank Your Parents. The triptych began with Preteen Weaponry, an album that bridged Krautrock with 90s noise. The conclusion to the trilogy is slated for a February release. I can’t wait!
