Trailer Park Six – The 70s Revisionist Western Edition

With the hopes of a Western Movie renaissance shot in the foot by Jonah Hex, I am looking backward to the 70s version of the genre. And not just the spaghetti variety.

Yup, that’s right, the focus for this six is The Revisionist Western!

Admittedly, that’s not so much of a trailer as it is a scene from the movie. I’ll take what I can get when it comes to making this list come alive. And here’s something a bit more surreal.

Imperfect yet awesome. Mythical film-making. Here’s another film I could go on about. I will return to this one sometime in the future.

And now it’s time for my McCabe and Mrs Miller plug. I love this movie a hell of a lot. It just so happens to be a western. This film is permanently tied with Brewster McCloud for the spot of being my favorite Altman film.

Okay, this last one is from the 60s. Still it’s Brando so you know it is unorthodox. Besides it sets real nice into a triple feature with The Missouri Breaks and Goin’ South. Now, go have a fugue!
