A Favored Friedkin Film

Just revisited this film yesterday, inspired by a forum thread on AV Maniacs. I got thoughts but not the time. Throw it on the pile, I’ll get to it. Why? A labor of love, of course. It’s part of my own “pantheon movies”. I love it unconditionally. Despite its flaws, I find falling into these frames to be quite naturally. It shares a spot with movies as diverse as Casablanca and Phantasm. Their scenes are lodged in my memory and entwined with thoughts. So yeah I got plenty to say but it’s daunting. So keep any eye out for that.
